ART FEAR TOKYOは、学術的な側面や市場性を一度脇に置いて、自由に表現活動を楽しむことを目的としたイベントです。その名前は、Art Fair（アートフェア）からインスパイアされており、既にそのユーモラスな性格が表れています。このイベントが具体的にどのような組織や運動に属するかは現時点では明確ではありませんが、参加者たちが自由に表現を楽しむことで、その方向性が徐々に明らかになることをご期待ください。
今回の展示では、残念ながらバンクシーとダミアン・ハーストはスケジュールの都合上参加できませんでしたが、非常に才能にあふれ、センスが抜群のアーティストたちが出展しています。東京のストリートを監視する東京風紀委員会、世界をピクセルに誘うMAKERS SPACE、そして昨年突如現れた最弱の悪党ブルモリ、原宿ファッションの未来を切り拓く若きアイコンTAKUMUも、参加しています。さらに、主催者自身も作品を出展し、総勢5名のショーとなります。
作品のクオリティは高く、会場中央にはインパクトのある巨大なガラガラが設置されています。お客様には、千円札をお持ちいただき、SH Galleryまで足を運んでいただけると幸いです。そして、恐怖感とポップさ、カオスな雰囲気に包まれた展示をお楽しみください。

ART FEAR TOKYO is an event that aims to put academic aspects and marketability aside once and for all, and to enjoy expressive activities freely.The name is inspired by Art Fair, which already shows its humorous nature.It is not clear at this time what specific organizations or movements this event will belong to, but expect its direction to gradually become clearer as the participants enjoy their freedom of expression.
Unfortunately, Banksy and Damien Hirst were unable to participate in this exhibition due to scheduling difficulties, but the artists exhibited are very talented and have outstanding taste. FUKI COMMITTEE, which watches over the streets of Tokyo, MAKERS SPACE, which brings the world to pixels, and BURUMORI, the weakest villain who suddenly appeared last year, and TAKUMU, a young icon who is opening up the future of Harajuku fashion, are also joining the event.In addition, the organizer himself will exhibit his work, making a total of five people in the show.
The quality of the works is high, and a giant roulette with great impact is set up in the center of the exhibition hall.And please enjoy the exhibition filled with a sense of fear, pop, and chaos.

Makers Spaceは日本を拠点に活動するアーティスト。2014年ピクセルスタイルでアート制作を開始。現在、ピクセル化した世界の姿を、キャンバスやスカルプチャーで表現している。

Makers Space is an artist based in Japan. In 2014, he started making art in his pixel style. Currently, he expresses the appearance of the pixelated world with canvases and sculptures.

2022 ACTIVITY REPORT (NIGHT OUT / Tokyo, Japan)

MASATO YAMAGUCHI

90年代東京の音楽・ファッション・デザインの影響を受けアーティストとして活動をする。「トランスリアリティ（現実の向こう側の現実）」をテーマに、SELFY（自撮り）をする女性をクールキュートに描き現実とは何かを問い続けている。アパレルブランドX-girl や ReZARDとのコラボレーションを行うなどボーダレスな活動をしている。主な個展に”TRUEFALSE”( Tokyo 2023 ), “SELFY：完整版”( Honkkong 2022 )、”stay pixelated” x MAKERS SPACE ( Tokyo 2022)、”SELFY”( Tokyo 2021 )がある。

Yamaguchi started his career as an artist influenced by the music, fashion and design of Tokyo in the 90’s. With the theme of “Trans-reality”, he continues to question what reality is by painting “Cool & Cute” selfie characters. He is doing borderless activities such as collaborating with the apparel brand X-girl, ReZARD. His major solo exhibitions include “TRUEFALSE” (Tokyo 2023), “SELFY: Complete Edition” (Hongkong 2022), “stay pixelated” x MAKERS SPACE (Tokyo 2022), and “SELFY” (Tokyo 2021).

“弱さを肯定する” と ”嗜虐心” をテーマに2022年より制作を開始。

2001年に大阪で生まれ、日本のストリートカルチャーの影響を受け、独学でアーティスト活動を開始。
シンプルかつポップな色使いで、人々の目を釘付けにするパワフルな作品を描いている。

Born 2001 in Osaka , Japan.
Influenced by Japanese street culture, he started his career as a self-taught artist.
With simple and pop colors, he paints powerful works that catch people’s eyes.
